2. What data we collect

We only collect the personal data you choose to provide when you contact us to make an enquiry or booking, namely:

This website does not host its own contact form database; enquiries are handled through WhatsApp, telephone and email.

3. Website analytics and advertising

We use Plausible Analytics to understand how visitors use our website. Plausible is a privacy-focused, cookieless tool: it sets no cookies, does not collect or store your IP address or any personal data, and does not track you across websites or devices. The data is fully anonymous, requires no consent, and runs at all times.

We also use the Meta Pixel (Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd.) to measure and improve our Facebook and Instagram advertising. The Meta Pixel only activates after you consent via our cookie banner. When active, it may process data such as your device and the actions you take on our site, shared with Meta under their data policy. You can decline this at any time, and it has no effect on your ability to use the site or contact us.

4. Why we use your data

5. Legal basis

We process your data on the basis of your consent and/or the steps necessary to enter into and perform a contract with you (Art. 6 GDPR).

6. Sharing your data

We do not sell your data. We may share it only with trusted partners strictly necessary to deliver your experience (for example, our partner PADI dive centres), and with authorities where legally required. Messaging is handled via WhatsApp (Meta Platforms), subject to their own privacy terms.

7. Retention

We keep your data only as long as necessary to provide the service and to meet legal obligations, after which it is securely deleted.

8. Your rights

You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, object to processing, and to data portability. To exercise these rights, email contact@visitarmarbella.com. You may also lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD, www.aepd.es).
